Child Safety Standards

Wahazi maintains a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to such content and how to contact us.

1. Zero tolerance for CSAM and CSAE

Wahazi strictly prohibits any content, conduct, or activity that involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We do not allow such material on our platform. Creating, uploading, sharing, soliciting, or distributing CSAM or engaging in CSAE is grounds for immediate removal of content, account restriction or ban, and referral to authorities as required by law.

2. Age and intended audience

Wahazi is a community platform for adults and organizations. It is not directed at children under 13. Consistent with our store positioning, the service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Community organizers are responsible for enforcing membership rules appropriate to their communities within these standards and applicable law.

3. How to report child safety concerns

If you encounter content or behavior that may involve CSAM or the sexual exploitation of a child, report it as soon as possible using either or both of the following:

In-app content reporting

In the Wahazi member app, use the content flag / report flow on the relevant post, message, or media. Available reasons today include:

• Spam
• Harassment or bullying
• Inappropriate content
• Violence or threats
• Self-harm or suicide
• Other

For child-safety or CSAM concerns, choose Inappropriate content or Other, and include clear detail in any optional notes. You should also email us (below) so the report is prioritized for child-safety review.

Email our child safety / CSAM compliance contact at privacy@wahazi.com. You may also copy privacy@wahazi.com for privacy-related follow-up. Include links, screenshots, usernames, community name, and any other details that help us locate the content quickly.

4. What we do when CSAM is reported or found

When we receive a credible report or otherwise become aware of CSAM or CSAE on Wahazi, we act promptly. Depending on the facts and applicable law, we may:

• Remove the reported content from the platform
• Restrict or permanently ban accounts involved, as appropriate
• Preserve relevant evidence as required by law and for investigations
• Report to regional or national authorities (for example NCMEC where applicable) and/or local law enforcement

We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities investigating child exploitation. Nothing in these standards limits our obligation to comply with applicable criminal law.

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current published version. Continued use of Wahazi after changes means you should review the updated standards.
